Focus and Scope

Digital transformation is reshaping how individuals, communities, organizations, and public institutions communicate, work, learn, participate, and make decisions. The rapid growth of social media, digital platforms, artificial intelligence, data-driven systems, smart technologies, and networked communication has created new forms of social interaction and economic participation. However, these changes also raise important concerns related to digital well-being, public trust, inclusion, governance, ethics, misinformation, and the social consequences of technology adoption.

Journal of Digital Society provides a scholarly forum for publishing research on the relationship between digital technologies and society. The journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, methodological, and policy-oriented studies that examine how digital innovation influences social behavior, public discourse, institutions, communities, culture, governance, and socio-economic development.

The journal encourages interdisciplinary research that connects digital technology with social science, communication, information systems, public policy, data science, media studies, urban studies, and human behavior. Contributions may include quantitative research, qualitative studies, computational social science, data mining, sentiment analysis, platform studies, policy analysis, and critical studies of digital transformation.
